Samuel and Callie (Sprague) Heeg lived in DuPage Township. Both families were well-known farmers in the area. They had seven children. Their daughter, Myrtle, married Peter Startz (See Startz.) Their son, Edward, married Louise Schrader in 1923. (See Schrader.) Edward and Louise moved to a home on Edgewood Lane. They had eight children. Edward was stationed in Manchuria (Northeast Asia) during World War I.
